Description

A antique pitcher jug by Samuel Alcock & Co. Stoke-on-Trent, believed to be circa mid to late 1800’s.  A relief moulded parian (designed to imitate carved marble) jug depicting 2 female figures representing the divine virtues of wisdom and providence.

Beautifully moulded detail to the outer and handle.  The handle has had a repair/reinforcement at some point but this is not particularly noticeable and does not affect use.

A statement piece in it’s own right or can be styled with fresh or faux flowers for added impact.

Measurements: height 30cm  x width 28cm.
