Vintage Czech Glass ‘End of Day’ Vase

A beautiful example of vintage Czech glass, this mottled multi-colour glass vase is a perfect way to brighten up a room. Use as a standalone piece or add some fresh or faux flowers or foliage to complement the vivid blue, yellow and orange.
Myth has it that an ‘end of day’ vase is so-called because at the end of the workday, glassblowers would mix the various colours of glass they had worked with and blow multicoloured vases with the mix.
There is a tiny chip/ridge to the rim (see last pic) but other than that, the vase is in very good vintage condition.
Measurements: height 12.5cm, width 15cm.
